In this role, I focused on creating and prototyping new manufacturing processes to improve consistency and efficiency on the production floor. I analyzed existing workflows, built and tested process prototypes, and developed custom tooling and CAD models to support their implementation. I translated these early concepts into reliable, repeatable procedures by producing clear work instructions for technicians. One notable project involved designing a high-voltage hipot testing enclosure that integrated safety and process control into a single, standardized workflow.
Manufacturing Engineer

I am currently working as a manufacturing engineer at Velatron Technologies in Kitchener, Ontario. Was given a return offer for the Fall 2025 co op term. In this role, I collaborate with a team of production managers and engineers to create, improve and maintain manufacturing processes for custom electronic transformers, inductors and windings. I work closely with the production team to create and develop projects that aim to make the workplace more efficient.

Airframe Engineer
WATERLOO ROCKETRY
Sept 2024 – Present
Currently serving as an Airframe Engineer on the Waterloo Rocketry Design Team. Collaborating with a team of engineering students to design and manufacture the rocket body and nose cone, ensuring they meet the rigorous demands of aerospace conditions. Responsibilities include developing CAD models and machining/processing components for the fabrication of the body mold.

Waterloo Rocketry Fall 2024 model rocket competition. Collaborated with fellow mechanical engineers to research, CAD and build a model rocket with parachute recovery.

Shaking the Movers Youth Facilitator
Children and Youth Planning Table of Waterloo Region
Feb 2025 – Apr 2025
Supported the planning, preparation, and successful delivery of Shaking the Movers, a youth engagement event focused on hearing from children ages 6–8 about their experiences within their communities. Collaborated with a team of local leaders and organizers to coordinate logistics, develop activity materials, and create a welcoming, inclusive environment for participants.
During the event, facilitated a group focused on the theme of Allyship within the broader Communities of Care framework. Led interactive, team-based activities that encouraged empathy, communication, and youth voice. Gained valuable experience in community engagement, child-centered facilitation, and collaborative event planning.

Children and Youth Planning Table of Waterloo Region
April 2024 – June 2024
Chosen participant on the Youth Impact Project youth decision-making team to determine how to allocate $70,000 to youth-driven ideas across the Waterloo Region. Participated in multiple professional development sessions where skills in decision-making, critical thinking and equitable practices were cultivated. The final “Pitch Party” event gathered 25 groups and organizations of youth to present their ideas to a group of youth judges where we determined whether their projects should be funded or not. The role required working in a team setting to design granting criteria, review and evaluate pitches, provide recommendations and decide on fund allocation.

Student Ambassador
Business and Education Partnership of Waterloo
July 2023 – July 2024
Worked as a Youth Ambassador for the Business Education Partnership of Waterloo Region with their Youth Creativity Fund branch organization. Collaborated with program managers and other youth leaders to expand the organization and build brand awareness among the youth population. Acting as a youth voice for the organization and investigating ways to further innovation and youth-led change within the region. I have actively participated in community events as a Youth Creativity Fund representative at the 2024 Child Youth Planning Table Belonging Expo, 2024 Hespler Market Community Booth, 2024 BEP Explore Your Future Expo (Kitchener) and various Grade 8 nights at Waterloo Region District School Board high schools.

Worked over the summer in various roles at SWRIL. Participated in a weekly Youth Group where myself and other students from around the region came together to discuss youth outreach in the community. Also presented as a Guest Speaker to share resources and ideas pertaining to mental health accessibility within the Waterloo Region.
